unknown pest eating pepper and tomato leaves

by Soni Parker
(Colorado Springs, CO, USA)

I live in Colorado Springs altitude is 7350 so I have my hydroponic system in a 3 season greenhouse.

I purchased the plants from Lowes in dirt. Cleaned off all the dirt and planted in pea gravel in net pots suspended in a tub with an airstone and hydroponic fertilization Flora Nova solution.

I also have lettuce greens in another system in the greenhouse and no pest problem with these.

I don't see the pests but they're there.

Answer from Stella/Simon:
Sounds suspiciously like caterpillars, especially if they are gradually chomping down on the leaves from the outside in. Try sneaking in there at night with a flashlight and find them. If you can get rid of just one or two of the culprits, the feast should end.

Hope this helps!
