top drip or ebb flow

by Tim
(Stuart, FL)

Hey,
I live in South Florida zone 10a. I'm turning my west facing screen porch into the hydro grow space. There is no roof, just full screen enclosure. The plants get full sun from 12 until sundown.

My main goal is growing raspberries, strawberries, tomatoes. Im am also starting a dwc for lettuce.

I'm looking at either an ebb flow or top drip in dutch buckets for my fruits. Is ther any advantage of one over the other excluding the obvious of less nutrients and hardware being needed for the top drip.

I appreciate any input.
