House and garden Top Booster on tomatos?
by mtn man
I've got a green house running hydro with a lot of tomato and pepper plants. Running House and Garden aqua flakes in a home made drip, ebb & flow and deep root, all growing like crazy and very healthy. I'm getting a bit concerned, the plants are shooting through the roof and lots of blossoms and small tomatoes, none are ripening yet. I'm about 5 weeks from our first frost at 9000ft altitude in the rockies on the side of a mountain. I have some House and Garden top Booster given to me by a friend which is supposed to create an "optical" drought making the plants focus only on flower and fruit production. I guess it works well for herbs and flowers but tomatoes(tomatillos also)? I'm not sure and don't want to commit greenhouse suicide by adding something designed for herbs. Has anyone had experience with Top Booster on veggies?
Thanks in advance!
