Gnats are driving us nuts!

by islandflea
(Montana)

We are using an ebb and flow set up (all new components and materials) and seem to have established a home for a colony of black gnats! I am scared to use pesticides (even organic ones) but need to evict our little squatters. Please reply with tips to eradicate our little pests in such a way not to disturb our plants?

Answer from Stella/Simon:

Hi there,
We hate fungus gnats, too!

Try this harmless trick: suck up as many of those critters as you can with a vacuum cleaner hose!

For more aggressive control, visit this page Fungus Gnats
Hope this helps!
