General Lighting Question

by Jon
(Seattle)

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has experience with LED lighting? I've been thinking of replacing my current lighting for the energy savings, but I'm concerned about the effectiveness of the LEDs.

Any information would be great!

Thanks!

Answer from Stella/Simon:

Hi Jon,
Our website tells you to steer away from them at this point. They they just don't provide the spectrum of lighting that you need for flowering and fruiting crops. They definitely hold promise for the future, as a cheap and cooler alternative.

We appeal to everyone out there who has experience with LEDs. Please answer Jon's query and tell us of your experience with this type of lighting!

Hope this helps!
