Figuring PPM

by SmileHighCity

So my PPM out of the tap is about 200. If I am trying to hit a target PPM of 700 would I want to add 700 ppm of nutes or only 500?

Thank you!

Answer from Stella/Simon:
Hi Smile High,

The easiest way to do this is to simply follow the package directions for mixing your solution. Then measure ppm. If it is too low, add more nutrient solution. If ppm is too high, dilute with water.

Hope this helps!

Yes,
you want to figure your starting PPM into your total PPM...

so in your case you only want to raise your PPM 500.
