Chile Peppers Flower but thats all

by JD
(Granbury, Texas)

Hi,

I have made numerous attempts to get chile peppers to grow, I have had good sturdy plants and flowers galore but any attempt to pollinate them resulted the flowers falling off.

I can collect the pollen when I touch the plants so think I am on the right trail, but how do it get the pollen to do its magic??

I would appreciate any ideas you folks might have.

Thanks,

JD

PS: My grow room is at:
35%-45% humidity
75 is the average temp
64 is the min temp
78 is the max temp

The fluorescent lights are on 16 hrs a day

You need to hand pollinate
by: Anonymous

Hey man, you need to hand pollinate the peppers if they are not naturally getting pollinated.

Use the top of your finger and get pollen on it, then transfer that pollen to another plant's stigma. Repeat this for every flower, and you should have peppers in a few days.
