Simon,
So will your bubbler work well with a variety of herbs? Can I use your combo set up half bubbler with herbs and half lettuce raft? Can both use fluorscent T5 lamps? I just bought your simon Ebook and I love it, has tons of information. I was also thinking about buying the bubbler book, if it will work well with a variety of herbs. I know I have tons of questions, im a newbie and im falling deeper in love with hydroponics. Thank you for your input and answers everything is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Stephen

Hi Stephen,
Whoah, hold on a minute. I sorta misspoke when I used the word top feed "bubbler". I think the top DRIP system would be the best for a serious herb garden. You can even plant more than one variety of herb in each of the large bato buckets. And it works great half buckets, half lettuce raft. Simon's "bubbler" system, on the other hand, is a self contained unit that works best in a grow closet.
For culinary herbs, try the top drip bato buckets described in the ebook (don't buy Simons bubbler system). You could also do a small setup with these plans:

T5 Fluoros are all you need for herbs, greens and lettuces. You only need to go to the hot HIDS if you grow fruiting crops like tomatoes or peppers.
Sorry about the misunderstanding. When I said top bubblers, I did not mean Simon's bubbler setup. I meant top drippers.
Good luck and have fun!
Simon
